BIOGRAPHY
Mary J. Rhodes Conner is from Waco, Texas; born in Groesbeck, Texas and has resided in Fort Worth Texas for over 25 years. Mary was married to Mr. Robert L. Conner Jr, deceased (MSgt Retired USAF) where 3 Sons were born: Robert, Marcus and Nicholas. Mary is currently employed with the Federal Government, Department of Defense, United States Air Force for over 25 years. She is a graduate of Tarrant Community College with a degree in Business Administration. Mary plans to pursue her Masters in Christian Counseling, retire from the government and work in her passion: music, Christian/family counseling, weddings, publish books… She serves as an Ordained Elder at The Potter’s House of Dallas, Texas. Mary has been passionate about singing and helping others since a child and loves to share and minister to others in the Word of God and songs. Her first Album, “Worthy to Be Praised” was released September 2012. Mary believes the Lord has blessed this project; therefore, it will be a blessing to countless people. All 10 songs are special to Mary and were birthed in the spirit. In Concert for God, All Things Are Possible took place August 19, 2012, Gospel Inspirational Fellowship, Bishop Donald (DD) and First Lady Cheryl Hayes, Pastors. The Lord really blessed this concert. The mission of this concert was first to honor and glorify God; the announcement of Mary’s soon to be released CD, “Worthy to be Praised,” and to sow into three local ministries; all three missions were accomplished and to God be the glory! Mary has ministered in songs at Carswell AFB which is now Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base for over 20 years for functions as prayer breakfasts, Black History programs; Women’s Month programs; Hispanic Month; Air Force and Navy Retirements; Air Shows; building dedications; Christmas Parties; Base Chapel Programs… She also supported the community and local churches by doing fundraising concerts for churches and those in need in the community. One of her concerts, In Concert for God, All Things Are Possible, over 10 years ago was done specifically for a local International Outreach, Fort Worth, Texas, where $1,000.00 proceed were donated to starving children in Africa; not a lot of money but sincerely from the heart. Mary’s vision of In Concert for God, All Things are Possible was birthed over 20 years ago and her first concert was July 18, 1992 under the Music Ministry of Minister Carl Kenerly. God had showed up so powerful in Mary’s life and spoke in her spirit, “all things are possible with Him, but I had to believe. That started Mary on a mission to tell the world to have faith in God and believe. This ultimately pushed Mary’s ministry forward as she strives to soar in super natural faith in the Word of God! She plans to continue using her gifts, talents and skills to be a blessing to her family, friends and support the kingdom of God via different programs, churches…and through FIG M. Mary enjoys the life of a Christian and desires to accomplish all of her God given goals/assignments She also loves enjoying everyday life and balance; hobbies are: fitness/health; cooking writing, reading…She enjoys dance/fine arts, theater, classical music/easy listening jazz, home decor She also likes to watch football/basketball when time permits. Desires to travel more and see more of this beautiful earth
