Electric Soul Parade is a Space Rock Band from Los Angeles, CA. Influenced by the sounds of Pink Floyd combined with the heavier, faster qualities of Umphrey's McGee, Electric Soul Parade blends improvisation, technical compositions, and spacious soundscapes to create an emotional and inspiring music experience.
Electric Soul Parade has released two studio projects to date: "Sunrise From Outer Space" EP (2011) and "10,000 Moments" (2012). Notable live performances include opening for Allan Holdsworth at the Coach House in Orange County, CA, opening for Cornmeal at The Mint in Los Angeles, as well as performances at famous venues such as the Wiltern Theater, the House of Blues Anaheim, and the House of Blues Sunset Strip.
The creative force behind Electric Soul Parade has been the teamwork of Matthew Gotschall (bass/vocals) and Travis Lee Stephenson (guitar/vocals). Bringing unique skills and experience to the table, they have engineered and produced both albums together in their California studio. Travis and Matthew write and perform Electric Soul Parade's music in addition to enlisting the help of a variety of creative experts in mixing, recording, post-production, mastering, graphic design, photography, and a variety of other services. In addition, they contract session players when needed to perform in the studio or on the stage.
Electric Soul Parade continues to evolve and make itself known in the modern, rapidly developing music industry.
