Elegance Music is a new San Diego, California based Jazz duo, with members Doug Brunelle (flute, clarinet), and Paula Prophet (vocals).
We have both worked in numerous bands over the years; while in a band together last year, we discovered that we both love jazz; and the "standards" of yesteryear. We decided to form Elegance Music to bring this special genre to the many people who love and appreciate the great music of the past century; the kind of music which is great for listening, dancing, or even just background texture for intimate conversation.
Romance, luxury, the good life, and similar thoughts and emotions are evoked when listening to our music. And this is our aim.
