BIOGRAPHY
Performer, songwriter, and writer Elisa Korenne relocated to rural Minnesota after a decade in New York City. Educated at Yale University and the London School of Economics, Elisa co-founded an international technology nonprofit before giving up her day job to pursue music. For the last twelve years, Elisa has recorded and performed her music regionally, nationally and internationally.
In addition to her edgy and elegant acoustic and rock, Elisa has written a body of material about oddballs in history which she performs in her award-winning story-and-song concerts such as Minnesota’s Ordinarily Unsung Concert, “Oy Vey” is Jewish for “Uff-da," and Madams, Matrons, and Madwomen.
Elisa has received national songwriting and performance honors and her recorded music has been featured on HBO, VH1, MTV, and ABC. She is presently performing her shows about historical oddballs and working on a memoir about her move from New York City to New York Mills.
