Elya (Eli Smadja) is a pianist and composer living in Jerusalem.
He began his piano musical studies at the age of four. During his childhood, he delved deeply into the compositions of Beethoven & Mozart. Within the next few years, he connected to Romantic-Classical music in addition and especially with Baroque music, which connected him to her magical musical style and her Spiritual-Religious content. At the same time he began to discover new musical horizons, especially the ones connected with the Synthetic, Ambient and "so-called" New Age music.
Very quickly, he was able to free himself from the specificities of his influential musical styles and merged their way of expression, a thing that enabled him to produce music in his own musical taste - Meditative Music.
