About Erez Nataf
Erez was born in Jerusalem to a big family of an artistic tradition.
He is an expert in ancient stringed instruments such as: oud and saz; also plays guitar and piano.
He was one of the favored disciples of maestro Youssef Shemtov El-Awad, one of the greatest oud players in the world and merited to perform together with his maestro.
Erez leads his own band that make his own original music including Israeli folk music and lead two bands "Nataf Brothers" and "Abdalak" ( upcoming soon with the album) that combining many instruments such as oud, guitar, percussion, Ney (an antique flute).
They create Jewish music combining eastern and western pyiutim, Chasidic nigunim .
He wrote music for many films and choreography pieces ( Bat Dor 1996 ,Israel festival June 2003) and has come out with four albums of chill out, instrumental, and relaxing music : Cafeya with Yaya Smon (Fact records 2001), Bread project - red album (la4 records 2001), Bread project -green album (sleep latency, la4 records 2002), Joy (la4 records 2003).
He developed and teaches a program in world & Jewish music for students in the BPM College in T.A

He gives healing music concerts for terminal and mentally ill people.
In recent times has made an average of 200 concerts a year, enlivening, exciting and impacting listeners.
