The Gilford, New Hampshire based Eric Grant Band has been leaving a considerable mark on the New England country music scene since 2009. Not to be confused with a newcomer, EGB is the result of eight longtime professional musicians getting together to create a new country sound that has fans and critics taking notice. Their efforts have paid off with a loyal and growing legion of followers along with state, regional and national country music association titles in both new country band and vocal group categories.
The group has headlined stages of all sizes throughout New England and has lent opening act support to national acts such as Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Phil Vassar, Joey and Rory, Keith Anderson, Lonestar, Sugarland, and the Zac Brown Band.
EGB released their first EP in April 2011, and their single "Once Upon A Time" is currently in regular rotation over the radio airwaves in northern New England.
