I am a musician/singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles who creates music that has been influenced by the great American music of our time and the generations before.
I grew up singing and started writing songs in one form or another as a child
In college, I formed the alt-rock band (and indie darlings) Pushstart Wagon with a couple of friends. While still in college, we signed our first record deal and recorded/released their debut album within two months of graduating. My experience in the band has became a cornerstone of his songwriting style. While each song is it’s one creature, the DNA that are the building blocks of my music have been passed down since those early days of playing every club in Hollywood and cramming 4 guys and all their gear into a minivan and touring the country.
My love for songwriting has taken a turn in the last couple of years. Besides finding a group of talented writers to rub shoulders with at the Songwriting School of Los Angeles, I have traveled to Nashville to get a sense of what that world of songwriting is… And I love both towns.
My goal is to write more and more songs that will connect with people in a deep way.
I’ve been working on new music for the last few years and am about to release my debut solo album (due in April) and will embark on a new musical journey as an indie artist with my sites set on new territory to explore. New experiences in live shows will soon follow the release of this album and I’m excited to perform shows that will stick with the audience long after the night has gone.
