Harmonic Connections founders, Eugene and Andrea, are “connection specialists” whose aim is to motivate individuals to Maximize the Connections in L.I.F.E. (Lasting Influence through Focused Energies). They believe that “an educated individual is an empowered individual.” They live by the mantra: “The most significant CHANGE you can make in your relationship is YOU!” They extend their passions through their non-for-profit organization, Harmonic Connections Plus (HC PLUS). Through HC PLUS, Eugene and Andrea facilitate educational ConnectShops and Connect Coaching focused on empowering individuals LEAD LIFE and eXpand their Influence.
Throughout Eugene’s career he has used his degree in Architecture in construction related fields and is currently a project superintendent. He is a visionary who has turned his attention toward the future through Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certifications that contribute to green building to utilize sustainable and renewable energy sources. Eugene is dedicated to coaching and mentoring youth and uses mentoring opportunities with his four sons to provide male mentorship for other young men as well.
Andrea has been an educator (homeschooling and traditional) for almost twenty years and is currently a doctoral learner focusing her efforts toward a Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership with a Specialization in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2009, she authored her first book, Soul Soil: The Good, the Bad and the DIRT that Makes Up Relationships, and uses teaching and speaking opportunities to encourage individuals to LIVE, reminding listeners and readers that “if you don’t LIVE LIFE on purpose, LIFE will just happen to you.
Eugene and Andrea were college sweethearts that married on Mother’s Day, which was also Andrea’s graduation from Tuskegee University. They have been married for almost two decades and homeschooled their children for most of those years. Eugene and Andrea fellowship at Family Christian Center located in Munster, Indiana under the leadership of Senior Pastors, Steve and Melodye Munsey. They serve as Elders and volunteer in other ministry related activities. They are Team Leaders in the Marriage Ministry at FCC and have written songs for special venues that are featured on their latest CD release “Lovers’ Rendezvous.”
