Faith and Fiction is a pop/punk band from Buffalo, New York, formed in January of 2012. The band’s line up was solidified a few months later and consists of Tim MacDonald (lead vocals, lead guitar), Michael Montante (rhythm guitar), Konstantin Klimuk (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Wyatt Kluckhohn (drums, percussion). The band is currently in the process of releasing their debut EP "For Glory" after the success of their single "Could 9 (DMMR)".
Pop punk, although fitting, is an over simplified term to describe the sound that Tim, Michael, Kon, and Wyatt produce. Some of their influences (All Time Low, Forever the Sickest Kids, We the Kings) are very apparent in their song writing along with an alternative feel (Brand New, Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys). On top of those styles, Wyatt brings a different more heavy flavor (We Came as Romas, August Burns Red, Blessthefall) to the mix that sets Faith and Fiction aside from most pop-punk bands.
"When we write we don't aim for a specific sound. We just go with what naturally comes out." –Tim MacDonald
Faith and Fiction plays high-energy shows that have been described as engaging. Their set consists of original songs with a couple well-known covers in the mix. They have played shows with some notable bands like Forget Me In Vegas, Aria, and Storm the Bay.
