Fanali di Scorta is the name of a freak’n’roll duet native of Turin. The freak’n’roll is not a mere music gender, but a real lifestyle, blending Italian lyrics with composite arrangements varying from folk to rock-ska. Born in 2000 from an intuition of Daniele Chiarella, the Fanali di Scorta experienced various artistic steps with the same desire to have fun and try not to be too trivial. Following early cabaret debut, they rapidly moved to joyful songs with surreal rather than ironic lyrics. Early in 2009, the band launched its new album “Mojito Express”, containing 8 tracks strongly influenced by gipsy airs; a new stage for this duet, featuring folk music and a popular style, coupled with guitar synth liveliness.
