BIOGRAPHY
Neemkat (bench in Farsi) is a duo of Hamidreza Seifollahi and Farshad Farshadmanesh.
"Farshad Farshadmanesh" (born in 1976, Tehran, Iran), began learning piano with 'Kamil Yaghmaei' and later developed his performance techniques with famous Iranian musician, professor 'Emanuel Melik Aslanian'. He shortly began writing music and studied composition, harmony and orchestration with professor Aslanian. Farshad currently lives in Toronto, Canada but calls himself a world citizen.
"Hamidreza Seifollahi" was born in 1972 in Tehran, Iran. When he was 13, he began learning classical Persian music under the supervision of 'Mojtaba Rafati'. At the age of 19, while studying English Literature at University, he benefited greatly from the teachings of maestro 'Mohammadreza Atabaki’s' school of Iranian violin. He began playing pop and rock guitar together with techniques of singing with 'Armin Rahmani' until he moved to Toronto, Canada in 2005. His love of literature has helped him write the lyrics for Neemkat band.
