Felix began playing guitar at the age of nine on a guitar his uncle had given him. "The action was so high I could have sliced cheese into the sound hole."
A few upgrades in the guitar department and Felix took to writing songs. "There is so much to learn about the craft of songwriting. You have to be your own harshest critic and ask yourself does it work as a melody? Does the sentiment of the lyrics work?" "I never force myself to sit down and write a song." There is a gestation period and suddenly the urge to create forces me to sit down with the guitar or at the keyboards. It's like giving birth, but without the physical pain." But like any good artist, Felix over time has been honing his craft and continues along that path. With his flair for melody, his songs are catchy and upon listening remain imbedded in the memory. Tumbling Years is Felix's first CD and there is plenty of more music to come.
