As a professional vocalist Fernando Tarango based himself for four years in the San Francisco Bay Area singing with such groups as the Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Symphony Chorus and Pacific Boychoir, while honing his songwriting and recording skills. In April of 2010 his track, “Cloud of You” performed by the Maywinters, won him and fellow bandmates the opportunity to play at Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN. In December of that same year, his novelty Christmas song, “Santa Has Big Bells” was featured on Minoan Music’s, “Music to Kill For” compilation album and received terrestrial radio play across the US and Australia.
