First Be

First Be is a true lyricist representing Hip Hop Culture to the fullest. Inspired by the likes of Nas, Ras Kass, Black Thought, Common, Talib Kweli, GZA, Mos Def, and so many others, First Be utilizes the medium of Hip Hop to compose witty, yet informative rhymes. First Be has released three solo albums: The Essence of Omnipresence (2004), Born Lessons (2009), and Just the Messenger (2012). Over the course of those three albums, First has collaborated with 22 different producers to create original songs with potent messages. First Be has performed in many locations since attacking the stage in 2002, including NYC, Washington, D.C., Oakland, CA, Boston, MA, Providence, RI, the 3rd Eye Open, and many others. While so many others make music for alterior motives, First Be has remained true to the essence of hip hop, putting his heart and soul into his music, and taking the time to compose songs that have a long lasting impact on those who listen. Every time he picks up a pad and pen, his goal is to make classic music. Having collaborated with many artists such as: the Last Emperor, Tem Blessed, Dirty Ice, Erik Andrade, and many more, First has solidified his standing in the New England Hip Hop scene. You can view many of First Be's music videos on youtube.com including "9-11 Research, " "Street Comics," "Dangerous Group," and "Reportin' Live from the Imperial Dungeon." First Be's latest album, Just the Messenger, provides "edutaining" lyrics over an assemblage of bangin' production. "For the Love of it" is a modern-day boom-bap posse cut featuring the Last Emperor, Dirty Ice, Tem Blessed, and R-Teest. Be sure to share First Be's songs and videos and help bring balance to the world of Hip Hop.
