For the Hutch is a band of out suburban Westchester County, N.Y. that plays witty, no-frills rock music that mixes punk rock attitude with catchy hooks and college-boy musical chops.
For the Hutch formed in late 2005 from the ashes of Team 13, a Westchester County bar-scene mainstay. Mark Intentionally (vocals/guitar) initially conceived Hutch as a studio-only project, where he and former Team 13 bandmate Johnny Rumbles (drums/percussion) would record old and new songs with an extended roster of not-so-merry musicians.
Since 2008, the band has self-released three full-length albums and other miscellaneous recordings. In 2014, the band debuted a live lineup of Mark Intentionally (vocals/guitar), Joey Balls (lead guitar), Mike "Viv" Verdino (bass/vocals) and "Die Hard Liam" McKiernan (drums/vocals).
