François Sylvain is a guitarist from Quebec, Canada. He plays the guitar since 1989. He played in several covers bands ( rock, blues and metal) and in tribute bands to Ozzy, Iron Maiden and Joe Satriani.
He also played for Paul Di' Anno, the original singer of Iron Maiden, when this last one made its shows in Quebec in 2009.
He worked a lot in studio for local artists, whether it is for arrangements, guitar or drum programming.
He also participated in some original projects:
- In 2000, he released the album " Long distance singer " with his metal/progressive band Grey Matter. The album contains 10 tracks (74 minutes of instrumental metal/progressive music).
- In 2001, he released his first solo album " Ils n’étaient pas seuls sur la lune ", available online. The album contains 17 tracks (75 minutes of instrumental rock music).
- In 2008, he released his second solo album "Les astronauts de l’Antiquité", available online. The album contains 19 tracks (76 minutes of instrumental rock music).
- In 2012, he released the album "Life goes on" with his band LCP. It is a brightened up pop/rock album with very nice vocal melodies. The album is available online.
