Frank D Evans , Born Frank DiBartolo Son Of Sicilian Immigrant.A true "SPAGHETTI COWBOY"
Took my mother's mother's maiden name Evans as "show name" because Grandma was my first and probably greatest influence in Country Music. She was from Little Rock Arkansas.
I can still remember sitting in her living room for countless hrs listening to all her LP's. Elvis,Carl Perkins,George Jones,Johny Cash,Chuck Berry,Chet Atkins ,and many more that shaped and inspired my love for country music as well as my style.
Coming on home to you was written for my wife Randi ,son Jesse and daughter Rachel from a truck stop resteraunt in the heartland while I was driving over the road in the late nineties.I was bored and thinking about home and wanted to write a song so I thought about Carl Perkins who wrote down the words to Blue Suede Shoes on a brown paper bag. Then I took out a napkin and started to write...."ANOTHER TRUCKSTOP RESTAURANT...AND I'M ALL ALONE"...Ext.
Hope you enjoy and I look forward to getting back in the studio soon to record some more songs .
