Frank French

Biography

Frank French , composer and pianist espouses a broad approach to the music of the New World and Europe by placing both into the larger context of the world’s great music. In this realm the imagination expresses the contrast of genteel Romanticism and the savage emotive power evoked in a more rugged way of life, an artistic sentiment projected onto a landscape of rough and ready ways and means and the dynamic attraction of spirit to earth. Over the past 30 years he has appeared in in community concerts, educational venues, and music festivals throughout the world. His music speaks a language larger than life though his many performances and recordings.
