The band Full Turnout began in the Fall of 2006 when some Guelph firefighters got together and started "jamming" on different songs. The first Full Turnout song was written on that day "Movin' On" and is found on the debut Full Turnout Album "Perfect Neverending". Full Turnout is a tern used when all the fire trucks from a station are sent to a call. Being firefighters, we found it to be a fitting name.
Since 2006, Full turnout has been busy honing their sound. Original members include Matt Krusky on Rhythm guitar. Matt is a Captain with the Guelph Fire service. Pete Zettle is the man behind the drums. Pete is a Firefighter with the Maryhill Fire dept. Brian Parisotto joined Full Turnout in Jan 2009. Brian is a long time bandmate of our drummer, and was an easy fit on Bass. Brad Dugas was the Co-producer along with Matt on "Perfect Neverending". Brad also played most of the leads on our debute cd, and is so very much a big part of the Full Turnout sound. He is a welcome addition to the band, taking his place on lead/rhythm guitar. Dave Drexler, on lead vox, is working hard on vocals, for what promises to be the best cd yet, due for completion in the fall of 2009.
Full Turnout has been very well recieved in the Guelph area and abroad this past year. We completed a show in Indianapolis, playing at the Indiana Rooftop Ballroom, raising money for the Fallen Firefighters foundation. We have played in local clubs and area events, always with a great response. Full Turnout's sound is often compared to Greenday, 3 doors down and even the Black Crows, but in the end, it just can't be nailed down. We sound like "Full Turnout". Our second cd has come together great, and the band has grown so much over the past year. Look for us in the Guelph area. We will be playing our new material, and that is sure to bring a Full Turnout from the public!
