Style: Future Idiots are lyrically and vocally a combination of old school Pop-Punk and new age Pop/Rock with their recording and musical stylings being more technical and professional than the aforementioned genres usual stereotype.
Story: What comes to mind when you combine pornstars, a zombie apocalypse and a tribute to Silent Hill? Your first guess would probably be something along the lines of a 16 year olds wet dream, and most of the time you'd probably be right. It's the Future Idiot's and their ability to masterfully craft those three tantalizingly tasty topics together in what amounts to just a small sampling of the what the bands discography has to offer.
If you want a better idea of what FI sounds like than I would describe the band as a combination of delightfully exotic desires mashed up in a Pop-Rock-Punk blended bowl of mini-wheats ready for your daily consumption. That doesn't mean that things don't get serious now and again. 'Field of Pain' and 'Deception and Despair' are perfect examples of acoustic ballads performed flawlessly by a normally fast-paced and aggressive artist. The occasional female vocals and use of synthesizers also brings a change of pace to the historically Pop-Punk oriented sound. Making each song vary just enough to keep you coming back for more.
