Glen T was born in the small town of Fayette, Mississippi in 1963. He attended kindergarten through high school in Fayette. After graduating high school, Glen enlisted in the US Army in 1981. While serving a tour in Germany, he went out to a club where he saw Kurtis Blow in concert. DJ A.J. was mixing and scratching on the turntables. Glen has been a lover of music since he can remember and by watching DJ A.J. do his thing, Glen knew what he wanted to do. After leaving the Army in 1984, Glen became a DJ mixing and scratching all over the place. He was a disc jockey for over 20 years and has now retired. In 2005, Glen decided to put his other talent to use. Glen went into the recording studio to produce a CD. He wrote, produced and engineered his entire CD. The CD contains seven rap tracks and five instrumental tracks. The CD is title “Stepper’s Beat” which has a few tracks designed for the “Chicago Steppin’ Community”. Through music Glen feels that he can bring joy and excitement to a world full of music fans and through music, Glen’s objective is to make the world dance!!
