Garrett Rook was born in the summer of '91 in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the age of five; he started taking piano lessons under the direction of his grandmother. Under her tutelage; he learned to play everything from the classical to the contemporary. In October of 2000, his grandmother died of kidney complications.
Since that time; Garrett has studied with of a number of professional piano instructors, honing his skills to a professional level. He composed his first three pieces in 2006: "Memories", "The Ride", and "Rainstorm". Since then, he has composed more than two dozen original pieces. This collection represents the melding of Garrett's piano talents with his honest and unassuming compositions.
