BIOGRAPHY
Gatto Marte is an eclectic Anglo-Italian chamber ensemble born in 1991. Its members are variously from classical and popular music backgrounds with active involvement in assorted genres; giving its music an attitude close to jazz, through often heavy improvisation, but with a twist of prog, folk, contemporary classical, rock and sometimes even metal. It’s music has always been linked to the theatre, cinema and visual arts in general, and is particularly adept at musical storytelling through atmospheric soundscapes.
