Georgia Veru
Georgia Veru's American roots date back nearly 100 years when her great grandfather came to the United States. Generations later, her American-born parents instilled in her a deep love of the Greek language that comes through in her unforgettable adaptations of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina,” “An Affair to Remember" and “Alejate". She also sings Greek songs arranged in swing mode, American Country style and the traditional Greek sounds of Zembekiko and Sirto.
Georgia graduated the School of Music and Art and Performing Arts made famous internationally by the TV series FAME. She is an accomplished pianist who loves to play Greek music every chance she gets on her beloved Bosendorfer piano.
