WHO’S THAT CAT?
Since his early days back in 1988, Gilles Snowcat hasn’t stopped trying to capture waves of sensations to convert them into music. Then get some sleep, as you can expect from any cat.
He spent a part of his 9th life to hide behind the comfort of the Awaken project, until the magic air of Kyûshû led him to go a little bit more solo.
Vietnamese and Japanese uniquely magic and mysterious atmosphere are the fuel of his inspiration and led him to consider music in a more organic, soulful, spiritual and, should we add, spirituous way. Actually, a bottle of sake or good wine is never far away.
Besides Awaken, Nekokawa (ah yeah, there’s also Nekokawa –we’ll tell you about this later) and his solo ethylic experiments, Snowcat also collaborates with a bunch of music bandits from Japan, Australia, UK and France.
