Gina Demergeau-Lasseur is a Haitian-American Christian vocalist currently living in South Florida.
As a Child, Gina grew up singing in local churches in Haiti. She also started playing the guitar, composing music and singing worship songs to the Lord at a very young age.
Music has always helped Gina even in her most difficult trials. At the age of seventeen, to cope with her mother’s untimely death, she often found herself playing the guitar and singing on the rooftop of her home. The Lord has always ministered to her through music.
Her debut album “Bondye Vivan” marks her response to the Holy Spirit’s insistent calling to minister at a larger scale.
The songs featured on this CD are not only pleasing to the ear but also transpire a captivating message of hope and encouragement to a suffering and often desperate world. Gina hope this message will inspire people to turn their eye upon a living & faithful God.
A percentage of the proceeds from Gina's album will be donated to INTERNATIONAL FIREFIGHTERS ASSISTANCE, INC. (IFA), a registered 501(c)3 non- profit organization in Florida that provides humanitarian assistance, support, education and training to firefighters and emergency rescue workers in underprivileged countries. IFA hopes to strengthen local communities by assisting its citizens to better prepare for emergencies and disasters. The Republic of Haiti is currently IFA’s target country.
