Glenn Kitch is a musician from Central Pa. A very talented instrumentalist, for the last four years he has been the driving low end, and a primary song writer for the Harrisburg based band Drop of Grey. In 2010 Glenn started performing solo as an acoustic artist. He has concentrated his solo efforts to benefit charitable causes.
Published at the age of 8 for his poetry, Glenn has constantly used his unfaltering creativity in writing and musical endeavors. At the age of 9 he began playing saxophone in the concert band at St. Peter's Elementary school. In only his second year playing the instrument Glenn moved on to other woodwind instruments, and eventually fell in love with the low end of the bass clarinet. He then began focusing solely on the bass guitar. After times of family crisis, and not involving himself in the music community for almost two years Glenn began to play again in a manifold of local bands. Playing his first public show at the age of 17 he rapidly in two years created a profile in the Lancaster area of Pennsylvania as a gifted young bassist. Taking the next two and a half years as a journeyman he continued taking many fill-in and temporary positions in many bands as a bassist. Self taught on the guitar, piano, and violin he is continually striving to expand his musical abilities. Glenn has already worked with nationally recognizable names with in the music industry having been recorded and produced by Bret Alexander (ex-Badlees) and Jeremy Hummel (ex-Breaking Benjamin) on D.O.G.'s independently released EP "Evolution of Sound". Bret Alexander also worked with Glenn mastering his first acoustic EP Love, Joy, and Other Strange Things. All of the proceeds of his EP will go to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network.
