Gold Lounge is one of the artists that keeps alive the chillout –ambient and electronic scene in Italy.
The mind behind Gold Lounge project is Michele Effe ( Michele Felloni ) a musician ,composer and producer with a background as DJ.
Since childhood, Michele loved to repeate the songs listened on the radio with his little keyboard and this natural passion leads him to begin his music studies very early, at the age of six
Michele grows in the 70s and 80s and mature his musical background while listening to the music that represents those unforgettable years.
His musical taste ranged from Pink Floyd to Earth Wind & Fire,from Giorgio Moroder to Simple minds,Tears for fears,Depeche mode and had strongly influenced Michele’s style.
In the 90s Michele began his career as a DJ and has a chance to play in several Italian clubs during the birth of house music that led him to produce some succesfull tracks with a group called Omnia Tria ( for example the remix of Gipsy Woman by Cristal Water and the remix of “You to me are everything” by The Real Thing both included in the famous international DMC compilation )
During a vacation at the white island Ibiza he discover ,and love immediately ,the chillout and lounge music and decide to converge his various musical experience in this new musical style.
Thanks to his collaborations with European chillout labels like Sine,Tyranno lounge and Sony Germany ,He released many tracks in some of the best chillout compilation like Chillbar,Cosmic chill lounge, Diamonds and Pearls ,Bar Lounge classic and Erotic lounge series.
In 2011 Gold Lounge has released “Spirals” that represent the first complete Gold Lounge album which includes some recent work and others that ,coming from the first musical stage,on this occasion have been revised and remixed.
