Goran Delac
 

Biography

Goran Delac was born January 19, 1978 in Zagreb. Living with his dad Vladimir Delac, who was also a musician. Goran started playing piano at the age of 8 in an elementary school for classical music. After finishing elementary school he found him self in rather lower frequencies, he started to intensively play bass guitar. Soon after falling in love with the bass guitar he went to a classical music school in Zagreb to study the double bass.

In 2002 Goran received a scholarship to attend the Los Angeles Music Academy. In 2004 Goran graduated and returned to his home town and began his professional career.

Goran performed and recorded with croatian and world known artists as: Eldad Tarmu, Saskia Laroo, Crosby Loggins, Renato Rozic, Sasa Nestorovic, Bernard Fowler, Jimmy Rip, Tony Cetinski, Aki Rahimovski, The Bastardz, Gibonni, Jura Stublic, etc.

In 2005 Goran released his first solo album called "My Music".

2006. won the Croatian Music Award for "best electric jazz bass player", and has been nominated for the same award in 2007 and 2008.
