Greenrose Faire

Biography

A fresh breath of air from the centuries long gone, Greenrose Faire plays jaunty medieval-influenced folk rock, taking you on a journey to a world of ancient woods and solitary beaches as well as lively village markets and rowdy taverns.

The band was founded in 2008 in Tampere, Finland, and their self-titled home-brewn mini-EP was released in January 2009, paving the way for further entertainment for the modern-day maidens and knights.

Greenrose Faire are:
Salla Rimmi - vocals
Nona Onnela - violin
Jukka-Pekka Hirsimäki - octave mandola
Petri Hannuksela – keyboards
Niilo Sirola – acoustic bass
Tomi Hyttinen - drums and percussions, backing vocals
