Greg Pope is an American born artist who has songs in his head and occasionally is able to escape to his home based recording laboratory and create power pop stylings and southern tinged rock and roll. His album, POPMONSTER, was the #1 album of the year on the Absolute Powerpop blog Top 100 releases of 2008. In June of 2009 he released a follow up: a 7 song EP entitled PETE, which is named after a friend he occasionally eats sushi with in Nashville.
