Guy Cardinal

Biography

Guy Cardinal is a rare talent indeed.

Born without sight, this french Canadian artist has followed his musical destiny in the foot steps of such legends as Ray Charles & Stevie Wonder.

In the late 70's, at the age of 16, Guy embarked on a journey that would forever change his life. He left home and, without escort, hitchedhiked over 2000 miles, all the way to Chicago were he sat in at the local juke joints across the city and stunned the patrons.

That experience gave Guy the confidence he needed to tackle the challenges that lay ahead, he came back home a man, brimming with confidence that grew larger everyday.

Throughout the 80's & 90's Guy was in demand as a session player & side man with some of Montreal's premier blues musicians, enevitably stealing the spotlite.

It wasn't long there after that Guy put together his own band and became a fixture in the Quebec Blues scene.

Now Guy has released his most inspired musical work to date, "Images Mentales" a brilliant, instrumental album played solely on a Grand Piano.

If you love the sound of a Grand Piano played by a master, then this is the album you are looking for.

This album is destined to be big & Guy Cardinal's time is now.
