Gwendolyn E. Vaughn-Monroe
Gwendolyn E. Vaughn-Monroe was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She later moved to Kansas City, Kansas and then to Hawaii to start a 21 year journey in the United States Army. In 1993 Gwen retired as a Major and began to transcribes songs and poems downloaded by the Holy Spirit in 1996. Knowing that obedience is better than sacrifice, she persevered to released her debut album, "Doubly Graced" in December 2008.
Gwen is a member of Trinity Chapel, in Powder Springs, Georgia under the pastorate of Pastors Jason and Sarah Bolin. She serves in the Media Center.
Gwen is married to Louis E. Monroe Jr.; has three sons, Louis III (Angie), Lionel and LeRahn (Shawnice); and five grandchildren - John, Amber, Lindsey, Charity, and Sarenity.
