Hank and Jed Movie Pictures
Hank and Jed Movie Pictures was established in 2005 by Brent Triplett, Nate Panning Bryan Mahoney, Ryan Risley and 2008 joined with Sheila Brothers, Jon Etheridge and Tony Schnur. They are known for their original, clever and comical storytelling combined with action.
They began their comedy career primarily creating shorts films and winning awards with each one. Their first short comedy, Super Sam, took home “Best Comedy” and overall second place in the Final Cut Film Festival and went on to win Comedy Central’s Test Pilot Contest, which garnered over 100,000 votes for the win and included a cash prize and some air time on Viacom’s Comedy Central.
The comedy style of Hank and Jed has also been sought out by multi-billion dollar companies to create ad and recruitment campaigns internationally.
In 2008, The Hank and Jed team was contacted by Country Music Television (CMT) to develop and produce a pilot based on their comedy skits. It was a close call, but no green light was given. But that sure didn’t stop them. Just a few months later, in 2009, Hank and Jed dove into the world of animation where their mini-series, Doraleous and Associates, quickly gained momentum and popularity. Before the first season was up, the Hank and Jed team acquired a renewal for two more seasons of the series.
The success of Doraleous took them to the 2010 NY Comic Con and sparked interest in another animated project, Toonstone. Hank and Jed Movie Pictures will be completing the animated feature, Summer 2011.
