Hannah Tyler is a skilled musician, songwriter, and teacher. She has a heart for city-wide transformation and is dedicated to releasing a new sound that will shake the atmosphere and cause hearts to fall madly in love with the person of Jesus. Hannah is dedicated first to intimacy with the Lord through prayer, the word, and worship. From that place of intimacy Hannah spends most of her time in prophetic prayer and worship ministering before the Lord. Spending time before the Lord always results in an overflow of worship back to the Lord, but an overflow in ministering and training others in the ways of Jesus Christ. Hannah has a heart to see her generation be used as End-Time warriors and worshippers through discipleship, prayer, fasting, clinging to the Word, and worship.
In 2009-2010, Hannah attended the Recording Institute of Detroit for sound engineering. All of Hannah's CD's have been recorded, mixed, and mastered by herself. She has a vision of using the skills she has learned to record and release a new sound in the city of Detroit just as Motown did in the 1950-60's. She believes the Lord is birthing new songs in the heart of the city and His children that are unique to this region and its people, through prayer.
Almost every song Hannah writes comes from the place of prayer and relationship with the Lord. "Many of my songs start as prophetic oracles and choruses in the Ihope prayer room," Hannah says. "It is a unique process of never ending songwriting. As you write one song and play it in the prayer room, you begin to prophetically play and sing off of that song developing another song! And the cycle just keeps on going." One of the most important tools Hannah uses when in prayer is the word. "You can never go wrong praying and singing the scriptures!"
Her prayer closet operates like a "singing seminary," where Hannah studies the word through reading, praying, and singing the scriptures. Hannah has also taken, and is continuing to take, online courses from the International House of Prayer University (IhopU) in Kansas City through their e-school. This helps to keep Hannah in the word, and constantly learning new biblical truths and getting a deeper revelation of who God is. Hannah's dream is to be like David and minister before the Lord day and night while producing materials to help others find their lane and run in it wholeheartedly.
