Jerry Diaz & Hanna's Reef hail from the Gulf Coast of Texas. Born and raised near Sabine Pass, singer/songwriter Jerry Diaz grew up with a love of boats, the beach, and Texas and Louisiana culture. These influences are obvious in the music he writes. The son of a merchant marine, and an artist, Diaz comes by his love of traveling, and all things tropical honestly. The band Hanna's Reef tours throughout Texas, and the Gulf Coast extensively. Appearing at numerous festivals, venues, and private shows in the region, the band has develpoed a loyal following there. As of 2009, the band has three CDs of original music, the latest being, "Home on the Gulf Coast".
