Harry Stinson is a Grammy nominated musician who has achieved number one status as a drummer, singer, writer and producer. For over 35 years he has worked with artists such as Peter Frampton, Etta James, Al Stewart, Steve Earle and Bob Seger, just to name a few. He has logged over 100 hours as a performer and/or musical director for cable and network television shows. He has appeared on the big screen, performing in Bette Midlers’ “The Rose," and arranging vocals for Disney’s last hand-drawn animation, “The Fox and the Hound II.” He also co-wrote Martina McBride’s big hit, “Wild Angels.” If that weren’t enough, he recently worked with Toontrack, a virtual drum company to provide drum samples and midi grooves for the popular EZ Drummer and Superior drum programs.
As a producer, Harry has done four albums with Corb Lund and his Hurtin Albertans, with “Hair In My Eyes Like A Hyland Steer” taking home the coveted Album of the Year award from the Canadian Country Music Association. He worked with artist/icon Ian Tyson on “From Yellowhead to Yellowstone and Other Love Stories,” and received a Grammy nod for co-producing “Live at the Ryman,” with Marty Stuart.
Harry currently performs with Marty Stuart as one of the Fabulous Superlatives, either touring, on the Grand Ole Opry, or on RFD-TV’s Marty Stuart Show. He continues to contribute to recordings worldwide.
