Heath Hollensbe is married to Kathleen and together they have 2 sons; London and Rowen. Currently living just outside of Nashville, Heath and his family are very involved in (and accountable to the leadership of) their local church, The Bridge Spring Hill.
Heath has been involved in leading worship since the age of 15. His gifting’s have led him to countries such as England, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Korea, New Zealand, Holland, Samoa, Mexico, Canada and many more. In addition, doors have been opened for him to work with many different artists and various organizations.
He has written songs such as ‘Resting Place’, ‘Love Will Satisfy’, ‘Lead Me’, ‘Shining’, and ‘Song Of The Redeemed’.
His most recent song 'The Reason We Sing' has been used to serve as the 2011 theme song for the international persecuted church.
His new album "The Grand Narrative" is a 6 song concept record that encompasses the history of the universe through the future that is in store for Christians. Each song is titled by a word that describes the steps in the movement (Hovering, Creation, Failure, Atonement, Covenant, Re-Creation).
With deeply honest and sincere lyrics, and a musical style that would appeal to fans of Jonsi / Sigur Ros / Keane and Sufjan Stevens, the EP beautifully declares the truths of the universe saturated by sonically pleasing tracks.
Heath feels a deep calling and commitment to serving and ministering to the body of Christ as a whole through various outlets including local churches, ministries, conferences, etc. His combination of theologically solid lyrics as well a artistically excellent music makes him one of the most distinct artists to enter the music scene in quite some time.
