HEINRICH XIII AND THE DEVILGRASS PICKERS ain't like the country music you know. Except you are one of those, that still know the good old or even new stuff far away from today's big radio- and TV stations.
We are one of the few german country bands who write their own songs and play some kind of "classic" or "vintage" country music paired with bluegrass elements.
So if you're looking for acoustic guitar, upright bass, banjo, mandolin, dobro, electric guitar, steel guitar, fiddle and drums in spirited combinations, that's exactly what you'll get.

The foundation of the music is very plain:
me and my guitar, playing straight from the heart. Singing about the good and bad things in life or just telling some (hopefully) entertaining stories.
But when all the DEVILGRASS PICKERS come together, we can't fight back all our other music influences entirely. Of course you can hear a lot of decent country songs, but we also love to play some loud as $%§& and fast as &!§%. So if you like to dance, scream, spill beer or just loose some weight on a show, you should definitely show up on one of ours!
