A soul singer whose music is as memorable as his name, Homemadesoul, born Curtis Clark Jr., got his start in music while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Shortly after joining in 2001, he realized he wanted to pursue a music career and began writing and recording songs.
In just six years he was collaborating with other artists and performing on stages across America and in countries such as Iraq, Kuwait, Guatemala, Panama, and Japan. Since completing his military service honorably in 2007, he has had the opportunity to share the stage with Bradford Marsalis, Ashanti, The Tokyo Allstars, The Bluenotes, The Ying Yang Twins, and rock group Eve 6. He has also produced music for the independent feature film “Young American Gangsters”, and recorded three original studio albums.
Performing with these great artists has helped Homemadesoul to develop a fan base around the world, which has contributed to him selling over 1,000 downloads and direct sales of his first album as an independent artist. The future is very bright for Homemadesoul as he is scheduled for release during the third quarter of 2011.
Homemadesoul brings back the magic that has been missing in the music industry for far too long. His raw, original, and soulful melodies are what make his music – Homemadesoul.
