Denny Earnest is a multi-faceted individual who is a personable singer, a fine lead guitarist, and a very skilled songwriter. Earnest, who lives in ParadiseValley Montana, gigs with his band Denny & The Resonators, writes music for films, television and studio work, (his 1st cut on TV was back in 1996 on Friends) repairs guitars, also works a bit making Artisan breads at Gils, wood fired ovens in Livingston.
Along the way he has recorded several albums that cover Western Swing, Americana, Jazz and lowdown blues.
His 2 new albums "One Rose at a Time & "Earnest Jazz Ballads" is something much different since it features all of his original songs, the majority of which also have his lyrics. Earnest has long been a fan of the Great American Songbook so, instead of merely reviving familiar material, he chose to add to its legacy. Some of the selections sound like they could have fit very well into a 1950s jazz group’s repertoire while others are a bit more modern and soulful, in the Ray Charles vein.

His partners on these projects are Pianist Pat Feliiti from NY, and Bill Watson on Upright Bass, Mike Gillan Drums,"The One Rose" album features 12 new Vocal tunes, sort of like listening to an old "Reprise" LP from the 60's, lots of crooning, a bit of swing mixed in there, where the "Earnest Jazz Ballads" are a mix of Piano Bar vocals, and very Jassy piano instrumentals by Mr. Felitti. The way it worked was after finishing a vocal track he'd ask Pat if he could hear a piano instrumental of the finished vocal track. then he's play a brilliant very uptown New York City style piano solo, so there's a half dozen nice Jazz tracks on Earnest jazz ballads, sounding very much like Kenny Baron.

The blues, like jazz, suffers a bit from having the same material performed far too often. How many more versions does one need of “Stormy Monday?” Denny Earnest, a very talented individual, aims to change all of that. A composer who has had much success in writing music for films, television and the studios, shows like, "Friends", "Judging Amy", many episodes of "Its Always Sunny In "Philadelphia", "Cold Case Files" CBS, NBC's "Poker After Dark" , Larry King Live, MTV "Run's House" featured 8 of his tunes in "Hawaiian Vacation" also "Real World", "Date My House", "Blue Crush" Movie, A&E's "Nightwatch", "Big Brew Theory", Sci Fi Channel “12 Monkeys, CVTV "Originals". The Wahlburgs, Amazon Prime Time etc...

In the last few years Denny's signed his old albums Lp's to Fervor Records in Phoenix AZ, his old rock n roll originals from 1973-75 his days in Cleveland Ohio
