Howard Bragen

Biography

Howard Bragen has been a musician since the early seventies working in Britain and on the continent as well as being a regular at London's Marquee Club. He's appeared on radio and television and played at The Reading Festival.

In the eighties Howard played the London pub rock circuit with his band "Between 2 Rivers" releasing their first single Diamond Mining in 1988 with some considerable success on local radio.

He's made 3 solo albums previously The Rothko Room (1992), From The Edge To The Weir (1994) and D Samba (2002).

The first two are "song albums" but D Samba features instrumental composition for the acoustic guitar and whilst the earlier works are fundamentally in a rock genre the new album is moving into jazz and latin territory.

In addition to his solo records Howard was involved in a recording project Song For Peace featuring amongst others Dave Gilmore,Bob Fripp and veteran US artist Richie Havens.

More recently he has just recorded a programme for HTV playing acoustic guitar for Cardigan studio producer and singer/songwriter Jon Turner. Now he is releasing his fourth solo album with the additional help of IMMG and we are hoping Howard will be reaching a much wider audience via radio airplay and the benefits of reaching his audience directly through the internet. This new and varied album should appeal to a wide audience.
