With over 100 concerts worldwide every year, and more than 100,000 copies sold in his native Venezuela, Huáscar is revolutionizing the global musical space, with a vanguard approach. He is one of the creators of the new Venezuelan sound called Neo-folk. Intelligent music, full of heart! Music lovers all over the world will love him, he is definitely here to stay!

A world class artist, Huáscar Barradas was the principal flutist in the Venezuelan National Philharmonic, and he has arrived to cyberspace to seduce music lovers, with his marvelous and unique style. He is changing the contemporary Latin music scene.

The prestigious German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemaine Zeitung wrote:”Mr. Barradas transported us to the expressive spectrum of the flute, beyond of what our European ears are used to. He shined with absolute rhythmic precision and virtuosity ...”.

He has participated in the most important specialized festivals: Montpellier, Hamburg, the European International Flute Festival, National Flute Association Convention 2000 and 2007, International Music Festival of Bogotá, International and Folklore Festival in Turkey, among others.
Performances in venues such as Calle 54 in Madrid, Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Complejo Cultural Teresa Carreño in Caracas, Venezuela, Catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá in Colombia, and Catedral de Quito in Ecuador, among many other famous locations.
Has shared the stage with the biggest names of international music, such as Isabel Pantoja, Miguel Bose, Martirio, Chavela Vargas, Simón Díaz, Ricardo Arjona, Guaco, Vos Veis, and Ilan Chester, among others.
Composed the Soundtrack to the movie “Mi vida con Sharon” by Venezuelan filmmaker Carlos Azpurua.
Creator of the experimental work PACIFICANTO, where he combines the song of humpback whales of the Colombian Pacific with diverse instrumentation and human voices.
