I Have Four Names is an independent one-man outfit from Sydney, dedicated to making bass-driven rock with an electro twinge. A debut self-titled album was released in 2012, followed by a second LP ‘Access Dog Memory’ in 2013. Select tracks were well-received on community radio.
In 2015, "Season 2" of I Have Four Names kicked off. A new, more focused approach is accompanied by more sophisticated production techniques. The new EP, 'The Other Hand is Always Greener', was released on 1 January 2015.
The man behind I Have Four Names is multi-instrumentalist Will Evatt. After his previous band conditionals made the 2009 Sydney University Band Competition grand finals, he tasked himself with making the best music he could. Will produces all the songs himself in his home studio, outsourcing only the mastering. The band mission is to make maximalist songs that pack a full and fun impact, but never overstay their welcome.
