Ian Gott has been a figure on the local Colorado Springs music scene since 2002, writing more than fifty songs in that time and playing with some of the city's best musicians. He also traveled to Korea twice; gaining inspiration and playing some of Seoul's hottest venues. Upon returning home however, he found his home had been burgled and most of his gear stolen. From tragedy arose opportunity, as he was focused on taking his fresh start and making it count.
Ian opened Funny Bunny Records in the summer of 2010 and recruited Dan, Benito and Trevor from the jazz program at Pikes Peak Community College for his latest effort: Ian Gott Quartet? In the following few short months the Quartet? caused quite a splash on the local scene, earning a following by playing all over southern Colorado. They hit the studio for a grueling six week recording schedule and produced their first record "Vs. the EP" in October 2010.
With their sights set on great things, the Quartet? are currently booking a Mid-West tour in order to take their unique party on the road.
