Ilker Akman

Born in 1979 in Istanbul, Ilker is a keyboard player who thinks that music a very delicate issue that being a full time musician would make your music sound ordinary. That's why he works as an engineer at the day time and as a musician at nights.

In 1999 he produced one of the leading song of Candan Ercetin who is a premier singer in Turkey. The name of the song was "Unut Sevme" and that album sold over 1 million. 4 years later he won the second prize in a song contest called Golden Pigeon in Kusadasi, Turkey. Since then he has been playing the keys in a band called Wonderland that performs in several jazz clubs of Istanbul.

He uses his Roland FP7F as a stage piano and his Nord Electro II for the electric piano sounds. He also has a powerful left hand that can play bass lines when there is no bassist in the band.
