BIOGRAPHY
Croatian based Infernal Tenebra was formed in July 1999. and releases its first demo album Beneath The Twilight in 2001. The sound of the band could have been categorized as black metal. Several succesful gigs like United Forces Road Show and Od Oluja Mrzitelja Festival happened in 2002, Slovenian Metal Mania Open Air 2003 Festival in 2003.
Line–up chages followed due to band’s orintation towards more death metal sound introducing Darko Etinger as frontman and guitarist. His experience in metal music, being the frontman for the admirable Croatian technical death metal band Forlorn Legacy and touring Europe supporting Vital Remains raised the band to a new level. The band started songwriting for their album and several years after the album „The Essence Of Chaos“ and finally finished and released on October 1st, 2007. Promotion followed with appearance on several festivals like Hell of revealing and nation-wide famous Oluja Fest. The most important live performance was at Metal Mania Open Air 2008 in Slovenia supporting Exodus, Pro-pain and Rotten Sound.
At the end of 2008, the band intorduced new guitarist Ivo Petrović who once again gave a huge push to the band’s sound being an extraordinary soloist. The band is currently continuing to promote the new album „The Essence Of Chaos“ and working on the material for the next release. The current sound resembles bands like Necrophagist, Aborted with a melodic approach of Dissection and Death. New live shows featuring new songs like Entropia show that the band continues in the right direction combining the best of the old school death metal and new death core sound.
