Prolific songwriter and musician Isaac Smeele is always on the go. 20 year old Smeele has been writing songs most of his life and has had results of varying styles, although often consistent with the acoustic/indie/alternative flavors. Smeele’s songwriting surpasses his age, appealing to a more mature audience due to the deep thoughts and feelings skillfully supported by the lyrics and melodies he crafts. Isaac has written around 400 songs to date. With many years of guitar and piano theory study under his belt, Smeele’s creations are intricate and the melodies are interesting and beautiful. From jazz pieces like Problem in My Pocket all the way to blues numbers like Shoes Got the Blues.Isaac is influenced by Violent Femmes, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground, The Beatles, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Weezer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Marley, The Animals, just to name a few.
