Ish has been delighting Canadian audiences for years and it is easy to see why he is a growing favorite among Grownups and Children alike. For he has a genuine way of connecting with his audience through his gifts as a Singer-Songwriter, Story-teller, and Clown and it show’s in his fun filled Concert’s and Recordings.
Ish is presently being booked at various festivals, fairs, schools, libraries and special events locally, as well as across Canada doing what he does best: creating a fun-filled environment that reflects on the importance of Music and Comedic Theater in Adults and Children’s lives.
Throughout the years Ish has performed to rave reviews at many Canadian International Children’s Festivals in Winnipeg, Prince George, Calgary, Regina, Kenora, Surrey and Ottawa as well as at smaller yet fun-filled Festivals such as Courtenay, Campbell River, and Abbotsford to name a few.
Composing on guitar, mandolin, and harmonica, Ish’s style is best classified as Roots - a combination of imaginative and thoughtfully conceived storytelling lyrics delightfully wrapped up in Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, Soft Rock and Country.
Drawing on his extensive repertoire of self-penned songs, comical poems, off-the wall stories and wacky interactive improvisational routines, his Family Friendly Concerts are always engaging for young and old alike.
Whether Ish is Performing In-Concert as a Solo Artist, a Duo, or Trio, and or with his new Quartet “Ish & The Clown Fish”. Together they contribute their own signature sound, feel and vibe, and encompass the merging of several wonderful musical styles featuring wonderful vocal harmonies and an upbeat mix of Folk, Blues, Soft Rock, Country and Bluegrass.
